Merry meet all,
November has arrived. I’ve just planted my garlic bulbs in the cold ground. Today sleet falls to the earth and the wind’s howling. The remaining gold leaves on the rocking boughs shiver from the cold. Winter has returned.
Just because Halloween is over is no excuse to think there’s nothing else to look forward to. The Full Moon comes in a few days and don’t forget Yule. Yule is a lot of fun. After Yule, there’s Imbolc when the seed catalogues pour in. Well I have my birthday in November but I try not to think about that. Remember when it was fun to get older?
November is the time to turn inward and to reflect on things. You don’t have to become an introvert. It is the time to think about what has changed you, what changes you would still like to make, or how to deepen your spiritual practice. Winter is a good time to finish those pagan crafts, get caught up on reading your pagan texts, or think about what you would like to do differently in the coming year.
Blessed Be, Lady Spiderwitch )O(
